I am a veteran of the corporate world who has chosen to live fully as a creative individual. Although I have been a casual photographer all of my life (landscapes, travel primarily) I also fully enjoy street photography as it allows me to shoot any where and any time and to really connect with the subject(s). When not capturing life around me, I write and speak in various venues and to diverse groups. I always use my images in my articles, blogs and talks whenever possible. Connecting with my surroundings is key to my life experiences. And sharing these with others is my delight.
Landscape and travel photography has taken me all over the world. Although majestic mountains, wild animals and dramatic colors capture my interest, there is nothing like being completely with the people of an area and experiencing them through my lens to really get to know a place. The people are what make any location real. People are people everywhere but their unique culture sets them apart.
