This Weekend: ICP Community Day

Join us for Community Day to celebrate the opening of the International Center of Photography’s new home at Essex Crossing on Manhattan’s Lower East Side.

Learn more about our educational programs and public events for teens, adults, and families. Visitors will have an opportunity to view ICP’s four opening exhibitions: Tyler Mitchell: I Can Make You Feel Good, CONTACT HIGH: A Visual History of Hip-Hop, James Coupe: Warriors, and The Lower East Side: Selections from the ICP Collection.

Two of the exhibits mentioned above have a decidedly street photography feel, namely “I Can Make You Feel Good” and “The Lower East Side.” Interpretation for Spanish, Mandarin and American Sign Language will be available on site – say what?! And tickets are free! Keep in mine, you’ll be assigned a timed entry, so claim yours today to make your weekend plans ahead of time.
