Featured Photographer Naveed Dadan

vacancy

Naveed Dadan, born and raised in India, is a zoologist and an avid street photographer. As a scientist, he is trained to observe the world around him.

During his studies, he traveled throughout India pursuing his science. During his travels, he became interested in photographing life on the streets in this large, diverse and colorful country.

Although he shoots in a richly colorful country, he chooses to photograph his subjects in black-and-white because he feels it reveals the essence of their character without the distractions of color.

Naveed has a very interesting story and a compelling body of work. To learn more, use the player below to hear my conversation with Naveed Dadan.
