We agree there is no substitute for viewing photographs on paper to see the photo as the photographer envisioned. However, publishing a printed magazine is quite expensive and out of reach for a niche publication like ours.
We are considering some type of special edition sometime in the future, but it’s not in our current plans.
Street Photography Magazine is a digital magazine that is available on two different platforms, meaning there are two ways you can subscribe, depending on what device you will use to view the magazine. If you want to access the magazine from your iPad or iPhone, you can purchase a subscription to the magazine (or single issues) through the Apple Newsstand. If you want to access the magazine from your PC, tablet, or Android device, then you can purchase a subscription to the web version, right here on streetphotographymagazine.com. Either way you get the same great content at the same time.
With the purchase of your subscription, you will receive access to the current issue on sale as well as all future issues for the duration of your subscription. This includes any special and premium, subscriber only content that we release. These will become available to you as they are released. You will not gain access to back issues with the purchase of your subscription, but you can buy said back issues individually if you so desire.
