Virginia Pegurri by Kip Harris
Mr. Pegurri was having a mid morning glass of wine at an outdoor table in the little village of Taverna, Italy, After I asked permission to take a photo, he asked a question about my camera. We had a rather long discussion about photography via Google Translate. He photographs the moon.

Familia by Deborah Cole
The local markets of Mexico are the center of culture. Food, music, faith and family all are present. Abuela (grandmother) is the center figure in the family and her word is law, no matter who or what questions it.

Striking Actor by Carl Young
This photo was taken in front of Sunset Gower Studios in Hollywood, California. Many classic films and iconic TV shows were, and still are, produced at this location on an otherwise seedy stretch of Sunset Blvd. Honestly, I had a bit of trepidation before setting out to document the striking actors and writers manning the picket lines during a standoff that had crippled the entertainment industry. How would they react to a nosy street photographer getting his shots as they fought for their livelihoods? Turns out my fears were unfounded. The whole point of a strike is to get attention, and what actor doesn’t crave that?
