India by train by Jobit George
Photo of two men travelling in a local train in India. Nothing quite compares to travelling by train in India. An experience that engenders wonder, nervous anticipation and heady exhilaration in equal measure. What makes train journey more unforgettable are the long hours of shifting landscapes from outside and moments of stillness, shared spaces and glimpses into everyday lives that unfolds mile by mile.

Cotton Candy Girl by Diego Evans (Geo Evans’ 7 year old son)
I’m 7 and went to the Best Buddies walk where I live. This girl made me cotton candy and I took a photo of her. Then I ate my cotton candy. I like the photo because of her arm and because I turned the camera because I was looking at the cotton candy.

Rue Faobourg Saint-Denis & Boulevard de Magenta, Paris, 2025 by Christopher Parsons
Snippets reflect the transitory experiences we have when passing through scenes, places, and times with people that are fragmentary and atomistic pieces of a greater whole. My Parisian snippets evoke elements of my own visual grammar, but if they represent anything, it is an attempt to recover from a form of self-alienation that developed over the latter part of 2025. This image was taken during a somewhat aimless walkabout on a nice December day. I’d noticed the subject hauling meat into a local butcher and then set up, wanting to see him come back into the frame while being juxtaposed against the dark tonality of the rest of the scene. He was shocked to see me and quickly approached, concerned that I was some kind of a meat inspector and subsequently telling me to move alone. This frame was made just before our brief discussion and captures the temporary tension of the moment when he (incorrectly) assumed that I had some kind of disciplinary power on the Parisian streets!
