Street Shooters of December 2021

Untitled by Craig Litten

I was out testing the monochrom recently and this is one of favorite shots so far in the edit. Most of what I was shooting was trying to test the dynamic range and understand how to expose correctly without blowing out the highlights. I ended up shooting manually (shot on the beach), ISO 800, f11 zone focused at about 5 meters with a 50mm lens. Normally I’m using a 35mm lens and zone focusing at about 3 meters, but it’s harder to get close to people on the beach like you can in the city.
