In the summer of 2013 I decided to put my passion for street photography and creativity to the test. Outfitted with one camera, one lens, plenty of memory cards, good walking shoes, comfy clothes and my lucky hat I set out for a seven day photo shooting marathon. My map free journey took me to all sorts of interesting places where I had the great fortune of meeting and photographing many wonderful people. I learned as much about myself as the people I met.
This collection of environmental portraits and street photography is the result of seven straight days of taking pictures and learning. The experience truly challenged my creative endurance and was equally rewarding at the same time. During the “Seven Days” I listened to many stories my subjects shared with me. Each one reinforced my belief of how connected we all are. I was privileged to hear their stories and share a few minutes of their time in the summer of 2013. Life is good.
