John Seyfried has been carrying a camera around since high school. Not only is photography his passion, it’s his profession. John works as a professional photographer at Oberlin College in Ohio and as a staff photographer at the Intermuseum Conservation Association of Cleveland, where he photographs the restoration process of valuable works of art.
In addition to taking photos on the job, John also enjoys street photography. In fact, he has quite a collection of the people and places that fill Cleveland, and a few other cities as well. Some of his photos date back more than twenty years. He spoke with us on a number of matters, ranging from film photography and street photography in rural areas to how to approach people on the street and finding a career in the photography field.
