Street Shooters of March 2021

Interview with Cristina Garlesteanu

Solitary individuals, reflections, light as a subject, surreal moments – these are a few of Cristina’s favorite scenes. It was our pleasure to speak to this talented street photographer, who lives in Bucharest, Romania, about her shooting style, her journey into street photography and what keeps her inspired.

Cristina sometimes heads out to shoot the street with her husband, Cosmin (also a talented street photographer in his own right). And while the pair can be found on the streets of Bucharest, they often head abroad for a change in scenery – always on the lookout for something unexpected to capture with their cameras.

Click on the audio player below to listen in on our conversation with Cristina, and then enjoy browsing through a selection of her images.
