Where do you go for a little R&R if you already live in the beautiful lakes district of Northern England? If you’re Kevin Shelley, you head straight to the bustling city of Manchester for some well deserved time spent capturing images of a few city dwellers undertaking their hectic daily routine.
Kevin could be described as a real renaissance man. He enjoys landscape photography, playing blues guitar and taking his renovated VW bus on leisurely trips across the countryside. He also has a real knack for street photography. In fact, we found Kevin’s methods a bit unconventional. Kevin likes to shoot with long lenses, from a distance. He prefers a 35mm or 6omm lens to capture city life as it happens and has gotten some spectacular shots that way.
Kevin is also a street photography blogger. He publishes his best work along with a photo story, making for a captivating blog. Kevin was gracious enough to share his thoughts on the art of street photography as well as a few tips on creating a successful blog.
