We just celebrated our first birthday and published Issue Number 11 of Street Photography Magazine. In celebration, we are delighted to offer up some real gems from the world of street photography.

Denis Buchel is a fascinating street photographer who takes amazing, up close and personal, gritty shots of interesting people he passes on the streets of Bulgaria. He shares with us his personal viewpoint of what street photography means to him, as well as a few practical tips to help fellow street shooters explore their personal style and capture amazing shots.

In the article, Shooting Street Portraits, you will get some useful advice from an experienced street photographer in Lisbon who likes to get up close to his subjects by simply asking for their permission.

Bittersweet Apple will take you on a trip to the Big Apple, exploring one photographer’s personal project revolving around the Greek culture that can be found in New York City, a subject close to his own heart.

This month, you can also listen to an interesting recorded interview with Naveed Dadan, an Indian zoologist who uses his observational skills to record the life and people around him through photography.

Daniel Sawyer Schaefer might be young, but he has a natural ability to envision and create amazing photography projects. Find out more about how to make your next photographic project a success by listening to his interview.

New York City photography legend, Len Speier, also took the time to speak with us about his newest project, “The Bus Series.” You are sure to find his life and work nothing short of inspirational.

Last but certainly not least, this month’s selection of Street Shooters are back again, offering up some impressive shots as they always do.

You can read everything in Issue 11 of Street Photography Magazine.
