Two spots are still left as of the writing of this post for a very special workshop in NYC with Vineet Vohra. The workshop was organized by the Miami Street Photography Festival and promises to be a real gem for all photograpers looking to improve in the art of storytelling. Here’s a few words from the organizers:
This is a five-day workshop tailor-made for those who wish to train their eye to find order in chaos on the streets. This workshop will help ease the anxiety next time you go out to shoot and help you solve the puzzle of composing compelling images in a split second. Most importantly it will help you to see.
Each day includes shooting in the streets and theory sessions in class covering all you need to know about street photography; the dos and don’ts, different aspects in composition and common mistakes made while composing. Other topics covered: understanding layering in photography, fine tuning your vision, Gestalt vision and its application in photography, developing your own style, understanding peripheral vision, ways to see and treat light, plus the screening of a video documentary of how images are made as they are being shot.
If you are interested in attending, grab your spot ASAP. This workshop will be sold out soon. Just click the link above, fill out the application and make a payment to reserve your space.
We love workshops and believe that continued learning can make a real difference in how you shoot on the streets. If you’ve been to a workshop that changed the way you shoot, we want to hear about it!
