I have a very good natural sense of direction and rarely get lost. But I’ve met my match in Rome…at least for now.
For some reason I can’t get my internal compass oriented and have become baffled by the curving streets with ever changing names. It’s become a puzzle that I have to solve and won’t give up until I have it worked out. Unfortunately my wife doesn’t share my enthusiasm. She just wants to get where she’s going with the least hassle.
One of the pluses of being lost in a cool place like Rome is the interesting things you can see along the way. Above is a photo of some pretty Japanese girls taking turns posing for photos on the Spanish Steps.
